Entrepreneur Martine Davis decided to create a global community, a safe space for dog owners to connect and meet up in real life. Martine, being aware of loneliness in today’s society and conscious that people are often not socialising, so she thought up Meet My Paws. A platform where people can meet other dog owners locally for play dates and walks or visits to a café. The site is inclusive, whether you are single, married, looking for new friends, a walking companion or even a romance
Since covid there has never been so many dog owners and with working from home people are just not meeting as much as they used to
The site is completely free to use. Just register, create a profile of you and your dog, state your personal preferences and then you are able to search and message other dogs and their owners. Make friends locally or whilst on holiday and enjoy our community.

How It Works
Once you sign up (it’s free!), you can create a profile for you and your dog — then use the Search feature to discover other members. You can filter by:
- Location (area, postcode, city, or country)
- Dog breed
- Owner’s name
- Purpose (friendship, walks, travel, romance, etc.)
When you find someone you’d like to connect with, you simply send a friend request. Once they accept, you’ll be able to message privately through the site.
You’ll never be bombarded — connection is mutual. You also have full control:
- Block or unblock members at any time
- Choose who you connect with — safely and on your terms
